Classic Rock Back In Touch With Classical

Not really sure what is going on with the album art here, but I was listening to this album today and I really fucking like it. I love classic rock, and it doesn't get much more classic than the Scorpions...man back in the day they wrote some damn hard hitting anthems.

This album though is something different. The Scorpions teamed up with the Berliner Philharmoniker (like Metallica's S & M if you are familiar) and churned out classically infused versions of their classics for all of our listening pleasure. If you are having trouble imagining, just picture the Transiberian Orchestra (see earlier post), except instead of Beethoven you get the Scorpions.

Maybe this isn't your cup of tea, but I suggest you give it a listen...or else I wouldn't have posted it. If anything at least listen to "Hurricane 2000" and the entirely instrumental "Deadly Sting Suite/He's a Woman, She's a Man/Dynamite [Instrumental]".

Gotta run, but enjoy some diversity my friends...cheers \m/
