Although I'm still never sure who actually reads this, just wanted to first and foremost apologize for the lack of consistent posts. I'm working at a summer camp and frankly don't really have time for this while its fun.

But just thought I'd post an album introduced to me recently that I've been listening to a lot recently. VERY different from everything else I've been posting, so now is the time to branch out.

Don't really know anything about Breakestra (sorry, I know it seems to be the trend), but I love their upbeat feel good jammy sound. I don't really have much other music like this, which is maybe why I like this so much but I really dig the funk. Clean, crisp, catchy, soulful...what more do you want? Plus they even worked in a rad hip hop track "Family Rap" in their for you even more versatile folk.

Dungen

To be honest, I don't know shit about this band Dungen. I got it from one of my friends from school's computer probably around winter quarter, and for whatever reason never actually got around to listening to it. I do however know that their songs aren't in English (hard to gather I know) and from what I've heard so far their sound is quite psychedelic and jazzy--a fusion of two sounds that I almost undoubtedly always like. Surprisingly though, this record was released just last year in 2008. Listen to "Samtidigt 1" for example, it has a much much earlier vibe.

Anyways, I still need to listen to this whole album, but figured this album was worth sharing while it was fresh on my mind.
