This is a solo album from the front man of indie-experimental sensation The Mars Volta. Take all the crazy, experimental, jazz-y, fusion-y, and essentially interesting aspects of TMV...remove the shrill vocals and you've got this album in a nutshell. It is really out there and a bit spazzy at times, but overall it is a cool album that I doubt you've heard unless you worship TMV or something. Who knows, maybe you'll be into it. Plus I really like the album art.
